Rajiv Thakur was born in Amritsar and was always interested in the craft of acting . He did his Bachelor of Commerce and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from DAV College , Amritsar and Khalsa college . He directed and participated in plays during Guru Nanak Dev University festival and other festivals . Rajiv Thakur is a multi-faceted man . He’s not only a comedian but a writer , director , actor , anchor and a model too . Rajiv Thakur has ten years of experience as an actor . He was announced as a winner of the grand final ‘ Chotte Miyan Bade Miyan ‘ on 21 June .Rajiv Thakur has performed at the ‘ The Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani Award ‘ which was instituted in the memory of late Rajiv Gandhi . In Season 2 of ‘ Comedy Circus ‘ Rajiv Thakur was a runner up and a 2nd runner up in ‘Ustaadon Ka Ustaad ‘. He was adjudged 5 times best actor at University level and gave many performances at Youth festivals at university levels . Rajiv Thakur was also adjudged as the ‘Best National Level Actor’ . He has anchored various stage and fashion shows .Two of his plays , ‘Eh Tan Kamaal Ho Gya ‘ and ‘Mirch Masala’ went on to be a silver jubilee shows . ‘Jakhoo Hills’, a popular play, was performed in Pakistan . Plays which Thakur wrote and directed are ‘Aao Sach Vekho’ , ‘Princess Diana’ , ‘Bunty and Bubbly’ , ‘Thag da Nag ‘ and many more . Rajiv thakur was responsible only for the direction of plays such as , ‘Daayra’ , ‘Mithya’ and ‘Death of Salesman’ . Thakur also has 5 years of experience in the media . Rajiv Thakur has worked in VCD ‘ Ghar Jawaaian Da ‘ and ‘Kulli Chadiyan Di ‘. He has shot a song with ocean music company and worked in serials of alpha Punjabi . As a model , Rajiv Thakur has worked in Nachattar Gill’s latest album ‘Pyaar ho Jaaega’ , Kaler Kanth’s album ‘Tun Chete Aavain ‘ and a few more .
