B.N Sharma began his acting career on Jallandhar Doordarshan in a Punjabi soap Jeb Katre and a comedy serial Flop Show. To his credit he has movies such as Jatt & Juliet, Carry on Jatta, Ardaas, Lakeeran, and Arjan. Kande, Raduaa, Carry On Jatta and etc .Sharma won the Best Actor in a Comic Role award at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards .He moved to Chandigarh in 1972 and joined the Punjab Police Force. He did 45 movies while he was serving as a constable
