{Gul Panag hails from an Army background.Her father Lieutenant General H S Panag, is in the Indian Army and is at present Army Commander, Central Command. She has a younger brother , Sherbir Singh who is a nationally ranked Skeet shooter, who also studied at her Alma Mater, The Lawrence School, Lovedale. She started her education in Sangrur, in Punjab and changed more than 14 schools including various Kendriya Vidyalayas(Chandigarh, Mhow, Leh and Wellington, Tamil Nadu), The Lawrence School, Lovedale and the International School Of Lusaka, Zambia. She did her Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Punjabi University Patiala and Masters in Political Science from Panjab University, Chandigarh.Gul always maintained a keen interest in sport and public speaking. She’s won many state and national level debating competitions, including gold medals twice, at the Annual National Inter University Debate. |

Dharamendra Singh Deol (Hindi: धर्मेन्द्र सिंह देओल), (Punjabi: ਧਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਿਉਲ), born 8 December 1935 in Ludhiana, Punjab, better known as Dharmendra, is a legendary Indian Bollywood film star.
He was born in Phagwara, Punjab to Jat father Kewal Kishen Singh Deol and Sikh mother Satwant Kaur. At the peak of his film career he was considered the handsomest actor in bollywood and a matinée idol. Currently he is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He is considered one of the biggest Bollywood superstar. He represents the Bikaner constituency of Rajasthan and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) political party. He was recently awarded the Lifetime achievement award for his contribution to Hindi cinema.
He rose to fame as an punjabi actor who appeared in more than 200 Hindi films since the early 1960s. He married Prakash Kaur and later actress Hema Malini. He is the father of actors Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol he also has 2 married daughters Vijeta and Ajeeta known as Dolly and Nonu who have been successfully kept away from the bollywood industry, from Prakash Kaur Deol. He is also the father of actress Esha Deol and Ahana Deol from Hema Malini. His brother Ajit Singh Deol is a former director and did a Cameo of a truck driver in the film pratigya.
