Gulshan Grover was born in New Delhi.India. He graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce with a post graduate degree in Commerce. Gulshan Grover received his acting training from Actor’s Studio where Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Mazhar Khan were his batch mates.Eventually he became a teacher at the Actor’s Studio. Gulshan Grover made his debut in ‘Hum Paanch’ (1980) and consequently went on to do films like’ Rocky’ (1981) , ‘Sadma'(1983) ,’ Avataar’ (1983) and ‘Khatron ke Khiladi’ (1988) and many others. He has acted in more than 400 films .he has won many awards like BBC Award, Giant’s Award in Art & Cinema,Stardust Best Award, and New York City International film Festival Award.

Gulshan Grover parents were Bishambar Nath Grover and Ramrakhi Grover. He has a brother,Ramesh Grover and a sister.Rita Grover. He married twice. Gulshan married Filomina in 1998 and has a son Sanjay Grover. He divorced her in 2001. Kashish Grover was his second wife from 2001 to 2002.
