THE BEGINNINGS:
Amrinder was born in Boorchand,Amritsar . He is fondly called Ammy. Amrinder Gill says that during his childhood ,he would stand infront of the mirror ans enact scenes from movies.He graduated from Khalsa College,Amritsar and received his Master`s degree in Agriculture Science. Before becoming an singer,he was working in the Ferozpur entral Cooperative Bank as a Manager.He released his debut studio album `Apni Jaan Ke` in early 2000.In 2002, he released his second album which was a commercial success and released many more album thereafter. He received the Brit Asia Music Award for his album,` Judaa` Amrinder released a sequel Judaa 2 in which his song Deewanapan topped the Asian Chart. He started his acting career in 2009 in the movie Munde UK De and there was no looking back thereon. Two of his movies angrej and Chal Mere Putt in which he actted and produced grossed over Rupees thirty crores globally.

Amrinder Gill is a singer,film producer and songwriter .He has won many awards for his singing and acting talent.He has been nominated for 10 PTC Punjabi Film Awards and won six ,three for Best Actor and three for Best Playback Singer. Amrinder Gill has also been nominated five times by Filmfare Awards and won two , one for best actor and one for best playback singer among other many acclodes.

His father is a doctor and mother a teacher. He has one sister. Amrinder Gill is married to Suneet Gill and has a son and daughter.
