She was born to her parents,Varinder Singh and Gita Bedi.She has an elder brother who is an investor banker. She was married to Raj Kaushal who was a director. He died in 2021 from a cardiac arrest. She has two children,a son Vir and a adopted daughter Tara Bedi Kaushal.
