Fateh Singh was born in Bangkok , Thailand to parents from Jallandhar, India. At the age of six his family moved to Hayward , California, USA. Here he started listening to hip hop music. He finished his schooling from John Muir Elementary School and after that Hayward High School. They left for Toronto,Canada. He debuted as a solo singer in 2015 with the song`Naiyo Jaan De’.He released the album ‘Bring It Home’. He is also a member of the band Zoo Babies.

He is known for his rapping. He changed his name to Young Fateh and then to Fateh and subsequently to Fateh Doe .Fateh started rapping in Canada. Fateh gained popularity when he was discovered by Dr.Zeus in 2012.He was featured in many tracks with Dr.Zeus .Fateh was approached by many other artists including Amrinder Gill, Jaz Dhami, Gippy Grewal and ProheC. `Pagal’ was a collaboration with Jus Reign,`Pendu sung by Amrinder Gill featured Fateh  He sang the song Lovely from 2014 Bollywood film Happy New Year. He was featured in `Lovely Ho Gai aa’ sung by Kanika Kapoor.`Body’ was sung by Mickey Singh and also featured Fateh.
He has received four nominations, `Breakthrough Act’, `Best North American Act’, `Best Urban Asian Act’ and at 2015 Brit Asia Music Awards. In 2016,Fateh released his first solo album `Bring It Home’ and by 2022,Fateh had released his fifth album `Hate That I Love You’
