THE BEGINNINGS:
Gursharanjot Singh Randhawa was born in Noorpur,Dera Baba Nanak tehsil, Gurdaspur district,Punjab.india. His nickname is Guru and this became his stage name.He did his Masters in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Planning and Management,New Delhi. In 2012, Guru debuted as a songwriter with the song Same Girl and in the following year he released his first song as a singer with the song Chhad Gyi on youtube. His first album was Page On. He rose to fame with the song Patola that had more than 368 million views across youtube. This song also got the award for the best Punjabi Duo .Randhawa  turns producer in 2019 with the Punjabi film Tara Mira. His songs Tu Meri Rani and Suit were hits that reinforced his stardom.
