THE BEGINNINGS:
Harbhajan Maan was born in Kemuana,a village in Bathinda,Punjab,India.He is the sixth child amongst his siblings. He began singing in 1980 as an amateur and performed in local shows for the South Asian community while he attended school in Canada. His singing debit was in 1992 with the song Chithiye Ne Chithiye. He realized that the Punjabi music scene in Canada was small and he returned to Punjab to record his albums. In 1999,he got his breakthrough with the song Gallan Goriye .Soon after he did playback singing roles and this lead to his acting career. He debuted as an actor with Jee Aayan Nu in 2002 and as a Film Producer with Jag Jeoneyan De Mele in 2009.

For his singing. He had sung many songs like Vadhaiyan Jee Vadhaaiyan, Nachlai,Haaye Meri Billo, Satrangi Peengh, and Mauj Mastiyan. He is also known for his acting.He released an album with his brother,Gursewak Maan caleed Satrsangi Peengh2
FAMILY LIFE:
Maan is the sixth child in the family. His parents are Harnek Singh and Dalip Kaur.He has four borthers, Jass Man, Gursewak Maan,Jasbir Maan and the fourth is dead. He has three sisters too. Harbhajan Maan is married to Harmandeep Kaur and has sons,Avkash Singh Maan,Mehar Inder Singh Maanand daughter,Sahir Kaur Maan.
