Honey Singh was born as Hirdesh Singh on the 15th of March, 1984 in Hoshiarpur situated in Punjab.He pursued his education from Guru Nanak Public School in Punjab Bagh. During his stay in the UK, he enrolled himself in the prestigious Trinity School to learn the art of music. He was greatly influenced by the likes of various legends such as James Brown, Ludacris , Dr. Dre and Bob Marley and he drew inspiration from them. This resulted in him introducing a new variant of music in the form of Punjabi rap in the film industry. His album ‘International Village’ was released on the 11th of November, 2011.
