Media wasn’t the fast paced one-click media that it is now . Now you can view everything from your home and your electronic devices . Before it used to be that films made in Bombay would get their main cast from Bombay itself and come to Punjab to get fillers or behind the scene crowd in movies . Now the industry stands on itself because we are able to reach the common villager in Punjab which the Bombay films are unable to do because of their lack of understanding of the rural culture of Punjab . Currently , the technicians are really good . We can say that we can compete with the likes of Bollywood . The budget has really improved as well ” . Comparing theater and movies Binnu Dhillon also says that, ” Doing movies is much easier than theater as there are no retakes in theater but theater refines an actor and creates a very strong base “. Binnu Dhillon’s future projects include, ‘Saada Jawai NRI’ , ‘Ishq Brandy’ and ‘Carry on Jatta 2’ .
